While in Florence we visited the Villa Barini to see the work of Italian designer Roberto Capucci (b.1930). I was surprised and excited about being able to get so close to the work and was completely staggered by the silhouettes, intricate details and the bold use of colour.
Capucci who opened his first couture salon in Rome in 1950 at the age of 20, calls his work a "study in form" and is inspired by architecture and nature. Stunning!
